Chatauqua, NY - Onondaga sits in 6th place after round 1 of the 2023 NJCAA Division III Golf Championship hosted by the par-72 Chatauqua Lake Golf Course. The Lazers shot a team score of 327 in round 1. Sandhills Community College is currently in the lead with a team score of 292.

Sophomore, Julian Galletta led the Lazers with an opening round of +4, 76 to put him into 12th place individually overall. Freshman, Mason Ellis had the Lazers' next best score of +10, 82. Following Ellis was Billy Guild 84, Dante Cassella 85, and Daniel Angelo 86.

Onondaga continues the 4-round National Championship Tournament today as they look to improve their standing after a challenging day 1 of competition.
