Onondaga Community College

Justin Garn (Syracuse/Marcellus) of the Onondaga Community College men’s cross country team has been named the College’s Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 5, 2014 after an outstanding performance at the Cazenovia College Homecoming Meet.

Garn placed fifth overall and was the first from Onondaga to cross the finish line after completing the 8k race in 29:55.

The sophomore ran a 6:01 mile while helping the Lazers place third as a team at the Saturday meet.

Garn and the rest of the men’s cross country team will return to action at the Hamilton College Invitational on October 11 in Clinton.
