Abshir Yerow finished first in the NJCAA Region III 10,000 meter run at the Cortland Classic on Saturday, April 22nd. Yerow crossed the finish line at 34:36.93, earning him the fastest 10,000m time in the country this year. He also smashed the school record by two minutes and qualified for the NJCAA Division III National Championships starting on May 11th.
